Seeking ancestral info on Silvestre or Silvester or Silva Bruneau. In some records the surname appears as Bruno. He was born about 1842, probably in Quebec, and died 1921 in Saginaw, Michigan. Earliest record is 22 Jun 1869 in Trenton, Ont. (St. Peter in Chains) when he married Emilia or Amelia Chouinard. Parents of the couple are not listed. Next listed in census of 1871 in Magnetiwan, Ont. and listed as born in French Canada. In 1881 he and family are again in Trenton, Ont. He and family are listed in city directories of late 1880's and early 1890's Muskegon, Michigan. From about 1893 he appears in the city directories of Saginaw, Michigan (in some years he is not listed. His family is also listed, but at a different Saginaw address until about 1898 when his family moves to Detroit and eventually becomes Breneau. Silvester remains in Saginaw until his death, 6 Feb 1920.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I am desperately seeking information on the parents/siblings of my great great grandfather, Ephraim Bruneau. He was born in or about 1840 in Saint Ambroise de Kildare, Quebec. His father's name was possibly Antoine (no confirmation/documentation) and I do not know who his mother was.

He married Josephine Gosselin in 1867 in Superior, Wisconsin and had 12 children - all born in Superior.

If anyone has an Ephraim/Antoine in thier line or any Bruneaus from the St Ambroise area I would like to share information.

THANKS!

I suspect that my great great grandfather, EPHRAIM BRUNEAU, who I have been researching for some time now, comes from the line of PIERRE BRUNEAU and MADELEINE AYOTTE. I beleive that Pierre and Madeleine had a son named ANTOINE BRUNEAU who married EULALIE FLEURIE who possibly then had Ephraim. However, I am lacking specific information/confirmation to establish this. I am interested in specifics regarding the marriage of Antoine and Eulalie; place, dates, children. Can anyone offer any information? THANK YOU

If you are related to Armand Bruneau born about 1887 please contact me. I have an old postcard from 1948 that was written to his wife Louise at their home in Brooklyn, New York. I found them on the census for 1920 and 1930 in Brooklyn. I believe Armand had a brother residing there in 1920 named Robert They lived on Stradford Road in Brooklyn. Armand was a public accountant. Armand and Louise had children Armand Jr., Richard and Mary. I believe that Louise's maiden name may have been Zimmer? I am not related to this family but would like to share this post card with you if you are related to this family.

I am desperately seeking information on Antione Bruneau and Eulalie Fleurie, they married in Maskinonge on Jan 12, 1830. I am possibly a descendant from this line but need to know who the children of this couple were. I have been researching my Bruneau line for some time now and can't seem to get beyond my gggrandfather Ephraim Bruneau - he was born in or about 1840 in either Maskinonge or St Ambroise de Kildare. Any information is appreciated.

David was baptized at the Saint Francis Xavier Church in Superior, Wis. The Godparents were Ephraim and Josephine Bruneau. I am trying to determine the connection of Ephraim Bruneau and Amadeus Bruneau as I have been researching Ephraim for some time and have little ancestry on him. In the 1900 census "Meaddy" lists his birth info as Michigan in April of 1860. He lists his parents places of birth as Canda. I need to know who Meaddy's parents were and if there were siblings.
Native American Search of the BRUNEAU Family

I'm searching for a possible Native American Bloodline. Family history tells me that my grand father (Hilaire Bruneau) and possibly my grand mothe r(Marie Valliere) had the bloodlone. My grand father was born in Canada in the 1860"s and married my grand mother maybe between 1897 and 1899 (maybe in ST. Bernard, Quebec, Canada). My grand mother died shortly after giving birth to my fater (Adelard William) in 1906. Unfortunately, my father died when I was twelve (I'm an only child) and my mother when I was twenty. If any Bruneau's can help in my search I would appreciate it so I can pass a possible Native American bloodline on to my four children and twelve grand children. I'm currently sixty years old and would like to close the loop on my past.

Thank you,

Bill
