I am looking for information about the descendants of Gilbert Brunette (resided 1878 at St. Liboire, Bagot, Quebec) and his wife Marie-Delphine Grise. Gilbert was the son of Emmuanuel Brunet. Gilbert and Marie-Delphine Brunette moved to New Bedford, Massachusetts in 1886 with their sons Gilbert, Nectaire and Joseph. Nectaire married Cedulie Ouellete in New Bedford 1 July 1901. However, I have no information concerning his brothers.

You know a great deal more than I do about my great great grandfather . He died in lebret in 1946 he had several daughters but only 2 survived to adulthood .His wife Adeline was a metis woman whose ancestors arrived in canada in 1542 settled at cap rouge and "went native" others arrived in acadie in 1636 and were involved in the founding of grand pre and port royal .I would very much like to know where you obtained your information as joseph has remained a mystery to me in spite of much research here in canada because his children are all burnett on their birth certificates I am currently exploring the possibility that his parents may have been Burnetts and may have arrived in quebec during the potatoe famine in 1847 I you find any infomation confirming this on your side of the pond please let me know.I will happily share all information I have on the hamelin line if you are interested

Marie-Louise Brunet

M-Louise Brunet was born and baptized 31JUL1850 at St-Janvier-de-Blainville, Mirabel to parents Michel Brunet and M-Louise Bigras. By 1855 her mother, father and 4 siblings all had died leaving her an orphan by age 5. She had many aunts and uncles with names Brunet and Bigras who were living nearby at St-Martin-d'Ile-Jesus but I don't know if any of them took her in. Does anyone have any info about this M-Louise Brunet; ie. did she die young, did she marry in Canada or did she emigrate to northern New York state?

To High School, maybe South Division. They may have lived around 5th and Mitchell in the late 1940's or 50's.
Might have had an Uncle Walter Brunet, who owned a gas station on Pine St. Therse Brunet's dad was John Brunet and mothers maiden name Helen Kruger, Kreger??
I am looking for any information for Gil Brunet married to Stella Fischer/ They may have been married May 29, 1962 in Montreal, Canada. I have been unable to confirm this with Civil Records for Quebec as I have insufficient data for Gil and only a month and year for Stella's Birth. Stella was born in Romania in December 1929. Her parents were Debora Grungerger and Bela Fischer. Stella had sisters Eezsebet
( Elizabeth) and Melanie, also brothers John Fischer and Ladislau Fischer. I have been unable to access the Webpage for the Brunet L'etang family, and I would appreciate any information or assistance that anyone may offer. Thank you, Cheryl Thompson

Looking for either first marriage certificate for Paul Amable Brunet dit Bourbonnais, born around 1767, or his children's baptisms. His parents were Claude and Angelique Coderre-Emery (also spelled Godert-Aymeric)

Paul's second wife in 1807 was Josephte Lalonde

Paul's children possibly from a first marriage:

Jean Baptiste Claude born in 1800 (from census records)
Marie Des Anges - married in 1814
Hyppolite or Appoline - married in 1817
Lucie - married in 1821
Paul - married in 1829
Angelique

Looking for who his first wife would have been. I haven't found anything in Quebec records, and am wondering if he left Quebec and married elsewhere, either Ontario, New York, Vermont, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, or possibly Manitoba. If anyone can look up these places for baptism of a Jean Baptiste Claude Brunet dit Bourbonnais in about 1800? His father Paul would have been married sometime around or after 1785.

Thanks in advance.
