I am searching for my Maternal Grandfather's family. My Grandfather, Joseph Bruno, was born in Pratt City, Alabama on september 3rd, 1907. His parents were Angelo Bruno and Anna Naro of Bisacquino, Italy. He had eight siblings:Phillip, Rose(who married James Clelland), Lillian(who married John Mcmillan), John, Cosmos(Aka Boots), Alfredo(aka Als), Anthony, and Mary( who married Phillip DiMaria). Most of the family resided in River rouge, Mi and Cleveland, Ohio. My Grandfather married my Grandmother, Betty Margaret(jackson)Conant on Oct. 31, 1941 in Napoleon, Ohio. It is my understanding that it was the second marriage for both. They had two children Margaret(Candy) and my mother Cindy. My grandmother had two children from a previous marriage, Joann and Barbara. They resided in Lincoln Park, Mi until his death on 3/1/59 of a brain tumor. His funeral was held at John K. Solosy Funeral Home and he was buried in Michigan Memorial Park. My Mother has not seen or had contact with any of his family since his death. I believe his family did not approve of the marriage. I am not looking to intrude, it would just be a void filled for my Mom to know more about her father. Please Email me if you can help.
