I am researching my own Bruns line which comes from St Louis, MO. I have come to a standstill at my great great grandfather and am wondering if anyone else has a connection to my family and other information.

Here's what I know thus far:

My grandmother - Emily (Bruns) Damke (St Louis, MO) b 30 Sep 1901/d 28 Jun 1987
Her father - William Henry Bruns (MO) b 31 Jan 1871/d 11 Apr 1907
Her mother - Amelia Julia Sommerlad (MO) b 20 Feb 1876/d 3 Dec 1957
Her grandfather - Charles Bruns (Hannover, Germany) b Nov 1828
Her grandmother - Dora/Doris ? (Hannover, Germany) b Dec 1838

What I do know about my gg grandfather is he lived with his family in the City of St Louis, established and owned his own dairy - Bruns Dairy. His children, naturally, worked for him. They were Emma, Lizzie, Clemens T, Augusta, Charles, William Henry (my great grandfather) and Louis C.

My great grandfather William Henry was killed at the age of 36. While driving the dairy cart, he hit a rapid dog and was bitten. He died from the bite.
