Searching for possible descendants of Jacques Bruyere who emigrated to America in the late 1600s from Germany. He was a Huguenot who fled to Greifenthal Germany to escape persecution. He came to America with possibly 5 children:
Pierre, Jean, Jeanne, Jacques & Susanne. I am a descendant of Pierre. Other siblings may have possibly settled in New York. Looking for any descendants of other 4 children. Pierre changed his name to Peter Bruere and settled in Monmouth County, New Jersey. I have information from family bible from early 1700s stating names of children of Pierre.
