Bryant Family Tree

Carol Bryant Acox  (View posts) Posted: 4 May 1999 3:01PM GMT
Am searching for Bryants orig. from Va. according to National Archives 1880 Census, roll T.9. Oral history states that family from Vir. and settled in Mississippi by following waterways. What that path included I do no know. Hoever, they migrated to lower Louisiana and up into Ms.
I show Orange (b.1829 d. ?) married Morning Bryant (shows age34 on this census).
Shows a John Ransom Bryant (born.1835 D. 8/28/1909) part choctaw. His son was William Ebenezer Bryant. (B. May 19, 1853 D.Oct. 24, 1921) married Omega Smith Bryant in the home of their grandparents (shows on the marriage certificate). Go to the county court house of the area that you are searching and find mucho licenses. They go back further than the archives which began 1790) Also ask for law suits against your family. I found enough to make up a soap box opera.
I am going to crack this nut and find our family. Keep me abreast and I will share with you.

Possible cousin,
Mrs. Carol Bryant Acox
