Perhaps this information about my branch of the family will be helpful to someone out there.
My great-grandfather, Jozef Brzezinski (b. 1842), came to America from Poznan in 1862. (He was out just before a major Polish uprising the following year.) He settled in Mt. Carmel, PA, in the coal-mining district, and was joined by several of his brothers over time. He died ca. 1912. His son, my grandfather, Clement C. Berzinski (1902-1992), had a number of brothers and sisters, some of whose children migrated to the Midwest.
My father, Clement A. Berzinski, very likely has a good deal of information about these relatives.
