I am searching for any information on Joseph Barczynski who was born in Pozan (Poznan) Poland/Germany. He was married and lost his wife and children to disease other than one daughter, Martha Barczynski (Ratkos). He then married Frances Wojtas (born in 1861), also from Pozan, Poland/ Germany, and they had six children. Our records show that they had children in Nebraska, Texas, and finally settled in Pinconning, Bay County, Michigan. Joseph died in the late 1920s. They also spelled their name Barginski. The first communion record of my mother-in-law is spelled Barczynska. Any help, including which port he was most likely to have come to, would be much appreciated.
