I am trying to track down information for my maternal grandmother's family. Her name was Bernice Filskowski (married as Pospyhalla), born in Cassel in 1905, died 1984 in St. Paul, MN. Her father was Steve (Stephan) Filtz and her mother was Josephin(e) Brzezinski. Josephine's father was Tomas Brazenski (born in Poland in about 1848).

Because of the many variations of the Filskowski and Brzezinski names (Filtz, Felch, Brazenski, etc.) I am having a difficult time tracing the family beyond a 1920 census.
