I am trying to figure out who her mother was. She was born 6/3/1875, died 3/8/1901, married James Melvin Tippens, both families were from the upper Ohio Valley in Pleasants County, WV. Her father was Lewis Sampson Buchanan, but I have found different names for her mother, either Landora A. Stewart (who I am still hunting for her first husband, a Miller, so if anyone knows that, please let me know!), who married both Lewis Sampson Buchanan and Napoleon Bonaparte Tippens; and Sarah Tuttle, who was also married to Lewis and the dates make more sense to me. I had a tree in my baby book that said her mother was Sarah VanCamp, which isn't the case, that was earlier in the tree. So I am confused and would like to figure this out and have some proof of who her mother actually is.
