The family of my g-grandmother originated in what is now Alsace-Lorraine, France. At time of her birth it was part of Prussia. If your BUCHHOLZ line has Alsace-Lorraine connection, I'd appreciate hearing from you. Major brick wall for me!

My g-grandmother: Julianna / Julia BUCHHOLZ / BUCHHOLTZ (born c. 1845). Immigrated to US / Wisconsin - possibly 1863. Married Gottfried "George" BOTZ / BOATZ in Wisconsin approx. 1865. Moved to Stearns Co., Minnesota and later to Missouri.
