Albertina Buchwald

Who is Albertina Buchwald, Oct 5 1856-August 2 1938? On the op of her tombstone it reads "Grandmother". She is buried in the same cemetary plot with my Blair/Crawford relatives At Woodvale Cemetary in Berea, Cuyahoga Co. Ohio. I have never known of any Buchwalds in my family, and I am curious as to who she is, and how she fits in with our family. Can anyone satisfy my curiosity?!

Buchwald Jews From Austria-Hungary/Galicia

Looking for Jewish Buchwalds from Janow (now Dolina) Galicia, near Tarnopol. My g grandfather Joseph Buchwald married a Dina Fleishner. He owned a grain mill. They had 12 daughters. One married a Halpern, one a Berger, one a Degen and others are unknown. Perhaps a Weitz and a Milgrom. At least one branch of the Buchwald family went to Texas. Sound familiar?

I interested in finding anyone who has info on the Charles and Amelia (Vogel) Buchwald family. My grandmother was a Buchwald before she married. Charles and Amelia were her grandparents. My gr.mother's parents were William Charles and Edna (Pettit) Buchwald. I have a little on that family.

I'm hoping someone may beable to help me out. I'm not able to find anything on our true family name. It is Quatirowski and was shortened to Quati. I have just a couple of pages from an old family bible and this is where I've found this name. This is on my fathers paternal side. He did not know them at all and it was amazing that I even found this much. But if anyone could help me with finding a name that seems long lost I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks and god bless.

Frederick O Buckwald 1920 - 1998 died in Hartford.

Brother .. .Charles Buckwald mentioned in the obits of Frederick....
Charles lived in New Jersey, that was in 1998.

Also mentioned were a daughter and son of Frederick.

Son ..David .. and wife .. Torri Buchwald of Colchester.

Frederick went on to join the Phila. Police Force.
Death...1938.

AGNES M BUCKWALD (Sheerer) dob =1900...Penn.
Pvt...US Army.........wife.
death.....1977.

Last known add was Haines St. Phila....in 1977.

Both Fredericks parents were born in Germany.
Both Agnes's parents were born in Pennsylvania.

Known children of Fred and Agnes were....

Frederick O Buckwald .... 1920. ....Phila.

Henry ...1930c.....Phila.

Freds wife was named Pauli.

Freds death was 1998

Last address was Hartford....Connecticut.

This information is new to me, and I would love to make contact with any family members.

I am seeking information on Charles W. Buchwald b.1875 and Julia (Lambert) Buchwald b. 1876, I believe that they lived in Cincinnati, Ohio and that Charles' father was also "Charles W.", but I am not certain. His son, Charles August b.1895, was my grandfather. I do have 1880 census information, but I am not sure that it is the correct family. I would also like to know about Julia's family.
