According to what my grandmother Olive told me Charles never remarried. He also died from TB. After the death of Annie he tried to keep the children as long as possible and had to give up the youngest first. My grandmother, being the oldest, remained with him the longest. It was too hard on him though. He was travelling back and forth from New York to find work. I don't know if he was staying with his brother Oliver at the time or not. I do know that for a time, after being seperated from her father, Olive lived with Oliver and his family before being sent to live in the Phillipines with Great Great aunt Edie (Carolyne aka Cora). One of my grandmother's favorite cousins was Edward Fosdick (son of Oliver) who also shared all his genealogy work with her. I am not sure where Charles died or is interred. I used to go to cemeteries all the time with my grandmother but never went to his grave that I can remember. Perhaps it is far away.
