Mr. Leroy Dee Buckallew, 71, of First and Clark St., Dugger, passed away at the Mary Sherman Hospital in Sullivan, Tuesday, July 21, 1981, at 1:50 a.m.
He was born in Greene County, IN on June 18, 1910, son of Joseph and Floria Shaw Buckallew. He is survived by his wife Opal L. Mitchell Buckallew. He has no children. He has several nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the American Legion of Dugger--Rex Ballard Post. He was also a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge of Carlisle and also a U.S. Veteran. He was a member of the Dugger Church of Christ.
The funeral services will be Thursday, July 23, 1981, at the Newkirk Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at the Dugger Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Carmichael will officiate.
