To the best of my knowledge we have no links to anyone outside of the country.
Buckle and Buckel seemed to be the result of errors on the part of the family.
My mother was always Buckle as far as I knew but her birth certificate was Buckel. Her father was listed as Buckle and still further back we find Buckel yet again. There is also evidence of errors as some of the entries are recorded as "The mark of ...."
