My mother was Mary Buckle (Mollie) and lived in Blackburn Lancs. I am attempting to trace back the Buckle family but have hit a problem with the surname. Some of her ancestors were listed with the spelling Buckle but others (including my mother's birth certificate) had the spelling as Buckel.
We have now established contacts in Blackburn, Haslingden, Liverpool, Needham Market.
I wonder if anyone can make a link with their own research?
