Just caught this query. If you haven't found out already, the George Buckelew who died in Rusk Hospital was the son of Moses Scott Buckelew,b. NYC, grandparents were Frederick Buckelew & Maria Cogin. He was the younger brother of my g-grandmother, Mary Cornelia Buckelew. Married Jennie Parker and had 3 children, but abandoned them. At some point, my grandfather (Mary's son) was supporting George in a residential hotel in Shreveport.
