Funeral services for Lee B. Buckles, 76- year-old resident of Sullivan county, Tennessee, who died suddenly at 11:15 o'clock Tuesday morning at his home near Weavers Union Chapel church,were conducted this afternoon at two o'clock at the nearby church with the Rev. Dan Graham of Blountville officiating. Interment was made in the Weaver Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, J. F. Buckles and W. H. Buckles; one daughter Mrs, B. C. Barker of Locust St and the following grand children; Theodore Blevins, Isabella Earhart, Elzora Buckles, Grace Buckles, Vivian and John Buckles; and two great grand children, Gertrude and Junior Blevins.

Mr. Buckles demise followed an attack of acute indigestion lasting about ten minutes. He was born in Carter county Tenn., moving to Sullivan county when he was a small boy.

Pall bearers were J. M. Feathers, E.M. Feathers, G. C. Feathers, G. P. Webb, Frank Webb and L. O. Simerly.

Honorary pall bearers were J. T. Boush, C. H. Snow, M. G. Cox. Lee Ball, S. SR. Green, G. P. Beidleman, J. C. Gray, J.O. Broyles, James Simmons, W. H. Easley, A. A. Weaver, H. M. Denton, S. F. Hawthorne, S. J. Wampler, C. S. Wampler, and James Rader.

Flower bearers were Blanche Simerly, Golda Webb, Juanita Barker, Mary Caryle, Rachel Feathers, June Feathers, Emma Jones, Mrs, Roy Hinkey, Mrs. John McKamey, Mrs, Dolly Bullock, Mrs, Virginia Broyles, Mrs, Magdalene Hawthorne, Isabella Earheart, Grace Buckles, Eliza Buckles, and Pauline Jenkins.
