BUCKHOLZ - Edward Daniel Buckholz of 42760 Leaburg Drive, Leaburg, died June 14, 1981, in a local nursing home at the age of 63. He was born April 27, 1918, in Isabell, South Dakota. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian, August 16, 1972. He was a World War II veteran. He was a tallyman and pickup helper for Weyerhaeuser Company from 1954 to 1981. He was a member of this community since 1946. He was a member of the Springfield First Christian Church and the Liberty Lodge, No 171, AF&AM, Springfield City Councilman from 1960 to 1964, Cascade Chapter, No. 155, E.E.S., Board of Directors, Leaburg Community Center, McKenzie River Lions Club. He is survived by a step-son, Dale Anderson; one brother, Jack Buckholz of Springfield; 4 sisters: Ruth Haefner and Emma Frabel, both of Maybridge, South Dakota, Elsie Stephens and Edna Lindsey, both of Golf Shores Alabama; numerous friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 18, at 10 a.m. in Buell Chapel with Pastor Ed McIndoo of the Springfield First Christian Church officiating. Entombment Springfield Memorial Mausoleum.

I am related to Ed's wife, Lillian Adelside (Betty) BAKER and would like to have contact with family to learn more about Lillian and if they might have some pictures ect. Carole Alden grand daughter of Elton BAKER.
