Hi Kelly,

I am very late but I am a newcomer on ancestry.com.

You won't find Buckhorn or Buckshorn in Germany (Prussia). There were and there are no families with this name existing. I think you will be much more succesful when you search for the name Buchhorn.
It's a pronunciation problem. The ch is pronunciate as k in english and so many Buchhorns in America carrying the name Buckhorn today and also in the past. I am also searching for Buchhorns in America and I found a lot of them as Buckhorn.

I wish you success and a nice day.

Wolfgang Buchhorn, Germany
