Hi was browsing on this web site and found all these Bucknalls. My grandfather was William Marshall Bucknall from Stallingborough in England, in Lincolnshire. My father Frank Bucknall traced a tree back to Lord Buckhail but my dad is now dead. I would like to trace it back too. I know we have a coat of arms. Would be interested to hear from you
Best wishes, Annabel

Does your Bucknall tree have marriages into the Aulton or Lewis surnames? An old Aulton family tree in my family has a Mary Aulton (bapt. 1812 Sutton Coldfield, Warks.) marrying a Bucknell (date and first name not specified). There is a daughter Deborah Bucknell from the marriage, and Deborah marries a Mr. Lewis 'of London', with children Elsie, Jessie, Frank, Martha, Winnie, Matilda and Thomas (no dates). Matilda Lewis then marries a Mr. Stewart, with children Charles 1903, Robert 1907, Donald 1909, Beryl 1917 and Aulton 1920.

Bob Bromwich
Birmmingham, England.
