Your Charles appears on my website as a son of Charles and Martha Busey at

Charles Busey married Elizabeth Dawson in 1813. The spouse of their son that you mention was Mrs. Nancy Cheffy (not Steffy). Daniel McDevitt (not McDaid) married Rebecca Busey who was Charles' sister, not his daughter. I have more information on this line, if you are interested.
