CHILLICOTHE: Carl E. Bucy, 96, of Chillicothe, Ohio died 1:33 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 2011 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a short illness.

He was born October 29, 1914, in Ross County, Ohio to the late Charles E. and Dora Jean Compton Bucy.
On January 26, 1936, he married the former Ruth Harriet Howard who died January 17, 2005.

Surviving are a daughter, Janet Bucy, of Waverly, Ohio; a brother, Charles Bucy, of Chillicothe, OHIO; sisters, Irene Lowery, of Columbus, Ohio and Jean Foor, of Chillicothe; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, Robert and Russell Bucy; and a sister, Dorothy McVicker.

Carl was a member of Walnut Street United Methodist Church. He retired as manager from A.&P. Tea Company where he had worked for 45 years.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2011 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Scott Smith officiating.
Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call at Ware's from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
