Hello everyone,

I received copies of notes today that were written by my 3rd great-grandfather, Francis Henry Budd. He was
the son of Wesley Budd and Hannah Helen Dunckle. Wesley died or vanished from sight, and Francis Henry
Budd was adopted by his aunt and uncle, David and Harriet Thomson. I have quite a bit of information from
this point on, but have been unable to locate anything about the past... until today.

A living relative of Francis Henry Budd Thomson sent me copies of the family history that Francis Henry Budd
Thomson wrote before he died. He wrote his family history like this:

Rev. Thomas Budd of England
Thomas Budd, who came to America in 1676
William Budd I
William Budd II
William Budd III
Eli Budd
Wesley Budd
Francis Henry Budd (adopted by David and Harriet Thomson)
John David Thomson
Helen Thomson Bridger
Betty Bridger Bennet

Who has more detailed information about this particular Budd line that I may examine online?

Is my Wesley Budd the same as John Wesley Budd that I have seen discussed on this list?

If any of you are interested in the information that I have on Francis Henry Budd Thomson, please let me know
-- I'm willing to share all that I have. F.H. Thomson is known as the "Sword Maker of the Confederacy" for his
skills and craftsmanship of swords and sabres during the Civil War. There have been several articles written
about him by southern genealogists.

Thanks,

Peter Nesbitt
