I have a bit of a cold trail on my grandfather's side.
Samuel Budd was born in Holland, Manitoba circa 1882. His father, also a Samuel, married twice with my grandfather being from the first family. I cannot find a trail to determine where the Budds of Holland came from. My father was an only child and he knew little of his father's history. Sam was a well driller who married an Irish girl in Winnipeg.

I moved to Vancouver in 1980.
Any clues out there ?
