Margaret Buehler's parents were Luzi Buehler, born 30 Jan 1782 in Masein, Switzerland, and Elsbeth Rupp, born 8 Jan 1785 in Switzerland. Luzi died in 1849 in Switzerland, and Elsbeth came to the US with her son Christian in 1854 on the ship John Ryerson. Elsbeth is buried with Margaret Buehler and Ulrich Von Wald in Wheeling, MN.
