Hi! My Mother was a Buehler Girl, her father was Forest B., His Father was John B., His Father was Conrad who did have another brother (Carl William Buehler, but they called him Charles and he married Margaret Anweiler) could this be in your family? Conrad & Carl did have sisters too, but they sort of get lost in the shuffle. I do have all the names if you think there is a connection. Anyway, Conrad & Carl's father was John George B. and his brother was Nicklous B., and their father was William. The story I have is William was born in Switzerland and was one of seven brothers. For some reason they went to Germany and he had John George and Nicklous there in Baden, Germany. John G was born Nov.21, 1784, and was married to Marie Ezholz. They had 5 children,The last one being my Grandad (Conrad). All came to the US. Conrad was born Sept. 22, 1814 in Nutzlock, Germany near the city of Heidleburg. When 19 year old he came to the US, the voyage across the atlantic Took 90 days and he arrived in this country on April 22, 1833. Conrad married Anna Marie Aaweiler on Sept 14, 1846 at Galion, OH. Conrad and Anna Marie had 7 sons. Number 2 being my great grandfather John. Conrad & Anna Marie Purchased their first farm in Irving Township, Barry County On May 27, 1852 and then bought additional land from the US Government, in fact I live on 80 acres of was once their property. My relatives live on both sides of our road, which is "Buehler Road" Freeport, MI. If any of this matches with your family, let me know. I know in 1886 Conrad & Anna Marie sold their land to my GGpa and moved to the State of Washington. Conrad died May 4, 1894 in Ritzville, Wash., and Anna Marie died March 20, 1906 at Connell, Wash. Maybe cousins....Colleen
