Glendon J. " Glen " Buer, 84, of Oceanside died Feb. 13. He was born in Belle Fourche, S.D., and was the manager of a disability field office for the state Employment Development Department. He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II, retiring with the rank of lieutenant colonel. Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Buer; son, Timothy of Las Vegas; stepdaughter, Barbara of Manhattan Beach; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services: 1:30 p.m. Monday, Marine Memorial Chapel at Camp Pendleton, with reception to follow at San Luis Rey Officers ' Club.
Interment: Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
