Hi,

My great-grandfather's name was John Buerger and I have been told he owned a brewery in Lapeer, Michigan but the time frame of the John and Anna mentioned above puts them older than my great-grandfather would have been. Do you know if one of the nine children was John and perhaps he owned the brewery after his parents? My great-grandfather had 3 children in the late 1800's to early 1900's. My grandmother was the youngest child, born in 1903 or 1904. Just looking for more information.
Thanks, Amy

They had 10 Children: Theodora, Dorothea, Louisa, Magadalena (my G-Grandmother), Edward, Charles, George, Eleanora, Norbert, and Gerald. Any info you have is welcome. Thank you.

D. James, Jan 8 1851 in Guadalupe Co, TX.
-
He and his family appear in the 1880 Seguin, Guadalupe Co, TX Census, pg 337A:
Bart Buerger, 56, Prussia, Cabinet Maker
Frederica Buerger, 52, Hanover
Helen Buerger, 18, TX
Matilda Buerger, 16, TX
Mariana Buerger, 13, TX
-
Helen Mary Buerger is my ancestor, I believe her to be the Helen Buerger in this census record.
