I was interested in your comments about the Buff Family Cemetery in N.C. - My great grandparents traveled from N.C. to California by wagon train, settled in the hills near Venture (homestead). They are buried side-by-side on their homeplace in a small canyon. I'm curious if they are from the same family. His name was Wheeler Buff and married to Margaret Swafford. They had two children I know for sure, Rosie Elizabeth Buff Jones and Richmond Buff.
