I am searching people with the surname "Rose" however, I have a Buffett in my family..

Yet another William Francis Buffett married "Elizabeth Jane Rose" 1875-1969.

I know that they had at least one child, and that they moved out west sometime, Elizabeth is buried in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, but there are no other Buffetts living out there.

Back in the '80s, one of their decedants (child or Grand child) visited my Grandfather in Nova Scotia, and discussed the family tree. I would love to contact this man and see if he knows more about the Rose family. Unfortunately no one knows who he is, or where he is from... other then "out west"
