Does anyone out there have knowledge of any actual documentation of information concerning the above Thomas Buffington (son of Thomas Buffington 1680-1739 and grandson of Richard Buffington, the English immigrant)? This Thomas 1710 was also the father of Revolutionary War soldier, Benjamin Buffington of Lykens Valley, Dauphin County, PA. Thomas is said to have been born at Concord, Chester County, PA and to have died at Turkey Creek, Edgefield Co., S.C., but I have yet to find any actual historically based sources to back up the data. I'm looking myself, but would be very grateful to hear from anyone who has found good sources. So far, everyone uses the same undocumented data with no mention as to where it came from. Thanks much.
