Hi ! It's me !! I heard from dad (Clarence Ervin Bugg, Jr.) that uncle George (your grandfather) did some fairly intensive research on the Bugg family tree.

Perhaps someone in your family still has the results of the research he did?

I know a few things that dad told me before he died. For example, I believe that Clarence Bugg, Sr.'s full name was Clarence Hendricks Bugg.

You will notice the difference between the middle names of Clarence Jr. and CLarence Sr.

I also know the name of Clarence Sr.'s father, but I have put it away in a chest and will have to dig it out...

I know that a lot of our family on the Bugg side were from Kentucky...at least for 1 or 2 generations above Clarence Sr. I know that Clarence Sr. married his second wife (Vivien Peach)and had 8 children.

I do not know the name of his first wife, with whom he had four children including uncle George.

I have a few pictures of the family which dad gave me...and I have always been interested in learning more about our ancestry...

I know we have a coat of arms in England. I have seen pictures of the design. I believe that we are somewhat English in ancestry but we have other components as well.

I was very excited to read your name on this message board. I enjoyed your company as a youngster and when I think of you it is with fondness. I hope your New Year is filled with wonderful possibilities and incredible adventures.
