Simon Bugg was my ggggrandfather. 1870 US Census, Claiborne Parish Louisiana reads age 60; born in Georgia. His wife was named Faithy" in the census. Her age was 40. I've recently learned that her name could have been Georgia Faitha (maiden name known).
Margaret Bugg (age 13) was my great-great grandmother. Margaret had 4 other brothers & sisters. Currently researching possible connection to other Bugg in area (Claiborne Parish).
