Buggey history

This may be old news, but here's what I know. The name begins @1000 in the town of Bugy France. It seems we are either Vikings or native Normans. We came over during or shortly after the Norman invasion of England. Settled in Buckinghamshire - London. Sir Thomas Buggey recorded in 1200s. Sometime later the family split. some stayed in England = Buggey, some moved to Ireland = Buggy. There were two separate immigrations to North America. The English Buggeys came to Canada. The Irish Buggys came to the US and settled in eastern PA. My grandfather, John, In Indiana PA started spelling his name with the e. Some of the family went back to the original spelling.
My question - Can anyone take back the Indiana Buggeys a few generations?
Thanks,
Dr. Tom Buggey - Memphis
