My grandfather Simon Peter Hanggi is from Nunningen Switzerland. Parents: Gottlieb Hanggi and Magalena Stebler.
He had a sister Emma Hanggi that came to America prior to his arrival in Chicago, Illinois. Simon Hanggi came to America 3 Feb 1891 Ship La Champagne, New York and he was 23
years of age. He met my grandmother Carrie Custer in Chicago, Ill. and later resided in Rankin, Illinois.
