I have found out about this book and possess
the 2nd volume of this. I believe that my
Buhler's were the ones responsible for the
construction and building of Buhler's Pavillion
(which was located on the ocean in Belmar, NJ)

The name that you gave sounds familiar. The
name Buhler is shown a number of different
ways, in Europe it is a very uncommon name.
The Buhlers in my family First pop up in
Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania then they move
to NJ. In NJ the family splits off. The younger
brother becomes a lawyer in Indiana. The
Older brother becomes a butcher in NJ and
later moves to NY (Scarsdale). The sister
marries an applegate and lives in Ashbury
Park (Which is in Monmouth Co., NJ)

Any info you can give me would be greatly
appreciated. I have been trying desprerately
to locate this family branch.

Thanks

Ian
