Mark- I have a Johannes Buhler (with an umlat) in my family tree. My great grandmother was Anna Barbara Buhler born 1875. She had a brother Johannes Buhler Born 6/30/1873 and a sister Luise born 3/23/1873. Their father was also a Johannes Buhler. He founded a church in Zillhausen Germany. (near Balingen) and about 40 min drive from the black forest in The "state" of Baden I believe the johannes Buhler (father) married a Marie Banzhaf or Banzhof and then they had the 3 children. I just came back from visiting some family in that area and they had multitudes of information. I wonder if this could be the same Johannes??? Please email me at jlnkbow1@xlinet.com
