How far back has the Buhler name been traced?

Buhler's of Baden

My great grandfather John Buhler was born somewhere in Baden on Aug. 12, 1859. The only other information I have on him is that he was from the Schwartzwald area of Baden and that he had a brother Adolph Buhler who was born around 1862. They came to America in the 1880's. Does any of this sound familiar.
