Alice, my side of the Buhler Family migrated from Alsace region in the early to mid 1800s to a region in the Ukraine on/near the Volga river to one of the large mennonite towns there at the time.Several of the family migrated to the U.S. in the early 1900s just before the October Revolution in 1917. The rest were liquidated by the Bolsheviks.
