I have several Buicks in my tree, and actually one that follows the tradition of passing on the mothers maiden name as a middle name.

Edith May Buick, my grandmother, born 1924, Hamilton Ontario. Father Benjamin David Buick, born 1890 - 1960 in Belfast, Antrim, Ireland. He married Rose Nellie Cheater. Benjamim's father, John Buick married Charlotte Hodson (or Charlotte Marks, there is some dispute in the name) and that is where my trail ends.
