Hello,

My maiden name is Buley. My branch of the family originated in Oregon, with my father Allen Isaac Buley (born July 17, 1922, Portland, OR). His father was Alfred Buley, originally from London (Shepherd's Bush area of London? - according to family stories). My father had 10 siblings.

I'm just beginning with most of this family history stuff! :)

type at name Buley and Ort = place = Berlin and click at telefonbuch on the left side.

You will get three pages of actual buleys, partly with full adress that you could contct by writing.

I don't know I ever met Donald Buley, but I know Oma!

My father is David Buley.

German Buleys

I am looking for any information about any Buleys from Germany. My paternal ggrandmother was Louisa (or Louise) Buley who married Ernst Heinrich Meyer. They lived in Berlin at the time of the birth of my grandfather, Hans, about 1908. I have been tracking the Buleys that I can find from FamilySearch.org, but am having trouble putting the families together and determining relationships. Any insight is most welcome. Barry G. Buley of Ellenville, a manager of quality control at the Imperial Schrade Co. where he was employed for 33 years, died Monday, April 8, 2002, at his home. He was 52 years of age.
The son of Kathleen Phillips Buley and the late Harold Buley Sr., he was born November 5, 1949, in Kingston.
Mr. Buley was an avid outdoorsman, a member of the Roundout Gun Club and a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his mother of Grahamsville; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael R. and Heidi Marie Buley of Otisville; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Lee and Gary Lee Conklin of Hurleyville; five brothers and four sisters-in-law, Arnold Buley of Youngsville, Irving and Joan Buley and Harold and Linda Buley, all of Grahamsville, Bruce and Jean Buley of Saugerties, and Roger and Sandra Buley of Lamontville; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Beverly and Harry Roebuck of Grahamsville, Barbara and Doug Chase of Kingston, Linda and Oliver Moore of Glenford, Louise and Fred Clark, and Gloria and Bob Reed of Hurley; and many nieces and nephews.
Services were held Thursday at the Colonial Memorial Funeral Home in Ellenville with Pastor Lorraine Ackerman officiating.
Cremation was made at the Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
Interment of the cremains will be made at the Mt. Evergreen Cemetery in Woodstock on Tuesday, April 16, with full military honors.

I am not related and have no further information.

I am researching the ancestors and descendants of my paternal great-great-grandfather William Henry Buley.
He married Elizabeth Lightfoot, daughter of Ashton Lightfoot and Mary Hickson.
One of his sons, Thomas Garrick Buley - my great-grandfather, was living with his son (Thomas James Buley - my grandfather) and my father in Joadja NSW Australia in the mid 1930s. They had a eucalyptus farm.
I believe William Henry Buley travelled to Australia circa 1870 on a ship called the Hawkesbury.

If anybody can help trace my lineage further I would greatly appreciate the assistance.
