My grandmother's NYC birth certificate lists her father as Fritz Bullinger, born in Germany in 1862. Her mother was Kunikunda Fadenhauer, born in Germany in 1860. His occupation was listed as laundry man. They had four daughters: Tressa, born 1883; Lena, born 1885; Julia, my grandmother, 1887; Rosa, born 1889. He died in NY or NJ about 1891, and she bought a farm in what is now New Milford, New Jersey. She remarried his friend, Ignatz Kunzelman or Gunzelman. I don't know where in Germany he was from, but my mother believed it could have been Berlin or Baden-Baden. I don't know if he was married in Germany or the U.S., or even where he is buried. Any suggestions?
