Hi Susan, Was your search on Joachim Bulow successful?
I would like to confirm whether Charles Wilhelm Bulow of Charleston was a Joachim´s son. Some data on the page
http://volusiahistory.com/pUSterr.htm suggest that he was.
All this is beacause of my own genealogy research:
http://www.posen-l.com/RschrDsply.php?Researcher=624Recently I found that Charles Wilhelm von Bulow, born in Berlin (Germany), got married in 1805 in Posen province (Poland) Josepha Catharina Kempfi a sister of my ggg grandfather Antoni Kempfi..
The question is whether Charls OF Charleston and Charles BORN in Berlin is the same person. It might be the same person because John Joachim Bulow the son of Charles OF Charleston was born in 1806. A year after the marriage of Charles BORN in Berlin. Moreover, when the Bulowville was destroyed in the Second Seminole War in 1836 John moved (came back?) to Europe. If however Charles OF Charleston were a son of rev. Joachim Bulow the probability that there was only one Charles Wilhelm Bulow in the beginning of XIX century becames negligibly small.
Could you be of any assistance?
Regards,
Marek
