I am looking for Joseph BUMFORD, poss. from Darlaston, stafford, or English Combe, Somerset. He married Mary PERRINS 27 Dec 1804, St Lawrence's Church, Darlaston. They were very wealthy even owning a pew in the church.
They had two children, Sarah PERRINS BUMFORD, chr 6 Aug 1806, Darlaston, and Marianne Parker BUMFORD, chr 1 Nov 1812, Darlaston.
Joseph died sometime after 1817 in a mining accident, he wasn't actually a miner he was helping out because of the shortage of workers during the war.
Sarah married John TAYLOR, 3 June 1833 at Tipton, Stafford, they had at least four sons. Sarah was very wealthy and owned much property. Mary Ann married Aaron BEECH 1 July 1832 at Walsall, Stafford, they had 10 children.
Does any of this sound familiar to any one?
Thanks
Cindy
