I am looking for a possible BUMP-STURDEVANT connection. I recently received information that an Arvilla Bump, possible born in New York, married a Harmon (Hammond)Sturdevant. Arvilla and Harmond ended up Crawford, Kansas, and Arvilla lived into her 90's. Her daughter Francis A. Sturdevant married William Beach. As of the 1880 census for Crawford County, Arvilla and Harmon were living with Francis, who was widowed, by then. Francis and William Beach had a daughter, Lettie May (born in New York), who married John H. Kitchen (born in Pennsylvania. They all migrated to Kansas @ 1870s. The Bump family connection took me by surprise. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Will share info.
