Don't know if you ever got your answer, but it's as follows:
Agnes Bumpass Cozart married William Brinkley in 1782. He was born in 1760 in Orange Co NC, & died 1840 in Orange Co NC. They had 6 children, Alexander, William, Robert, Winifred Pearl, & Bumpass. Census mentions a James Curtis also living in the home. I have the line from the child Bumpass forward to today.
