Bunce in Olmsted, Minnesota
I'm looking for information on Lydia Ann Bunce. She was born abt. 1815 (possibly NY) and married Jacob Chase in Chatfield, Crawford Co., Ohio in 1835. They lived in LaPorte Cty, Indiana before moving to Marion, Olmsted Co., MN. The family is listed there on the 1857 census there. Also on the census and living nearby in Pleasant Grove is a Jacob Bunce and family. Jacob was involved in an altercation in which the other person was killed. He was charged with manslaughter. I'm not certain that they are connected but suspect that they must be related somehow.
Children listed for Lydia and Jacob Chase were Esadore, Eliza, Harley, Henry, Nancy and Pomroy and R.R. There is another name that I can't read. There was also a William Chase as Lydia applied for his pension after he was killed in the Civil War.
