Hello Beverly,
I have recently come across two scrapebooks. One is for the 50th wedding ann of Mr. & Mrs. Herman Schuemann
and includes list of relatives and guests as well as full of cards. the second scrapebook is for the 100th b'day party for Mrs. Wilhelmina Plahm with cards and short bio written in ink, also list of relatives and guests asttending. There are newspaper photos of both women as well as short newspaper stories in Mrs. W. Plahm's scrapebook.. At the time of the 100th b'day party the oldest living great grandson was Ken Schuemann, a yoeman in the Navy and stationed in Chicago. Mrs. Plahm was born Jan. 31st 1943 and died June 16th 1943. Both scrapebooks are in fair to poor condition but newspaper items, cards and pages of handwritten notes are in very good condition. If you are interested in this material please contact me at the ffollowing address: Anne30@usa2net.net and I will be more then happy to answer any questions you might have or to forward this material to you if you would be interested. I am hoping to locate the relatives of these two women as I would very much like to see this material returned to the members of this family. Hope to hear from you soon.
