Hi...just looking over old emails in trying to find my Bunn ancestory. Wondering if there is a link. I have communicated some years ago via e-mail with a Sam Bunn from Georgia. Many similar names but none that could specify. However, Dink Bunn was mentioned. My father was William Thomas Bunn, born 1874. His parents were William H. Bunn and Sarah Elizabeth Faulkner. I never met them, they were dead before I was even thought of. My father's first wife was Named Georgia Bunn, he is supposed to have married his cousin, her maiden name was also Bunn. They had one daughter, that I know of, my half-sister, Annie Lizzie Bunn, she married a Wade. My father met and married my mother Berta K. Kellum Bishop about 1935. I was born late in life to them. My father was 63 when I was born. He died in 1952. Now Sam Bunn has a Georgia in his family who married a William Bunn, but he thought was his father, but my grandmother was Sarah Elizabeth Faulkner and they lived in Coweta County for a long time. She died in 1929. The Bunn brothers, my father, his brothers John Robert Bunn (is listed wrongly as John L Bunn in some census)He was called Bob. Also, other brother was Charlie Heber Bunn, and they ran a hardware store in Newnwan, Ga. About 1929 -30. I do not know what happened to his first wife, I thought that she died, but wonder about that. There is more on this story about other children. My mother smiled when I was trying to ask about Daddy's side. She knew very little except to tell me that Daddy said that Georgia claimed to have had more children by him. I questioned her on if that was so, why did they not live with them and she said she did not know but think they were raised by her parents. Where they were conceived before, during or after the marriage, I do not know. Mother said that Daddy also told her that there was some Indian Blood on her side of the family. That is all she knew, apparently there was not much said about Georgia even to my mother. Georgia would also be my distant cousin, if she was as rumored that Daddy married Georgia Bunn, his cousin. Now if you reach Sam Bunn, he might can tell you more about Dink Bunn. Look on the boards and see if you can find his name.
